Tucson Aqueduct - Phase A, Hohokam Archaeological Sites Cultural Resource Mitigative Data Recovery Studies, Central Arizona Project, 1983/1984 Annual Report

Summary

This report summarizes the first year of archaeological studies for the Tucson Aqueduct-Phase A Hohokam sites. A part of the Central Arizona Project, the work was carried out by Museum of Northern Arizona personnel under Contract to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The report summarizes the work accomplished, reviews preliminary research results, suggests modifications to the project research design, and presents a work plan for the second year of the project, September 6, 1984 to September 5, 1985. The document also contains evaluations of project field and laboratory methodologies, and specifies proposed modifications based on actual experience gained in the first year of the study.
