ROI014, The Commissary Site Revisited
Part of the ROI014, The Commissary Site Revisited project
Author(s): Frank Burkett; Donald R. Cochran
Year: 1984
Summary
Archaeological monitoring of earthmoving at the Commissary site, 12-Hn-2, revealed that the grading was adversely affecting archaeological resources that appear to be eligible for nomination to the State and National Registers of Historic Places. It was determined that further grading should be discontinued and that selective back-filling should be performed in order to preserve the remaining integrity of the site.
