ROI014, The Commissary Site Revisited
Summary
This is the tDAR Project page that represents Reports of Investigation 014 from the Applied Anthropology Laboratories, Ball State University. Archaeological monitoring of earthmoving at the Commissary site, 12-Hn-2, revealed that the grading was adversely affecting archaeological resources that appear to be eligible for nomination to the State and National Registers of Historic Places. It was determined that further grading should be discontinued and that selective back-filling should be performed in order to preserve the remaining integrity of the site.
