Monitor of Sewer Line Between Buildings 218-220, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming
Summary
On July 30, 1993, Rick Bryant monitored the excavation of sewer lines between and behind Buildings 218 and 220 as shown on the attached map. The sewer lines are buried beneath the road. The excavations were about 6 feet wide and 10 feet deep. A few fragments of brick and a few pieces of rusty metal fragments were all that was observed. No significant prehistoric or historic materials were seen. Since the area has been severely disturbed by previous road and sewer construction, the lack of cultural materials is not surprising. No further cultural resource work in the project area is necessary.
