Ceramic sherds from the Ravens Nest site (48SU3871) in Sublette County, Wyoming, were submitted for organic residue analysis. Samples were tested for organic residues using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Organic residue analysis provides information regarding diet, specifically plants and/or animals processed using ceramic vessels at this site.

Prehistoric camp site 48SU7579, situated on a northwesterly extending ridge finger, lies at an elevation of 7030 ft overlooking the Alkali Creek drainage valley. Two areas, Blocks A and B, date to the Opal Phase of the Early Archaic. Feature fill was collected from four features for pollen analysis to assess their use and provide paleoenvironmental information. The Phalanx Pho Site (48SU7506) is located on a large upland bench overlooking the New Fork River in the upper Green River Basin. Site discoveries included 22 scattered features, three semi-circular-shaped feature clusters, and three large charcoal-stained sandy areas. Radiocarbon dates ranged from 5720 ± 30 to 4110 ± 30 BP.
