<html>One of the most controversial points of the Early Prehistoric Period was discovered eight miles west of the town of Folsom, New Mexico, in 1926. The discovery of artifacts associated with articulated bones of extinct mammals of Pleistocene Age came quite unexpectedly with the excavation of a fossil bison remains.
