F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Cultural Resource Inventory Report 19 April 1987 (1987)
During the excavation of a backhoe trench for a sewer pipe adjacent to building 320, portions of a concrete foundation and undocumented water pipes and a cistern were discovered along the south and east sides of Building 320. Records research revealed no plans of these structures. Because the remains appear to date to the 1940s or even more recently and are undocumented, they are not significant and no further work is recommended.

The analysis of site and artifact data was done in 1984 and 1985, and the draft prehistoric report was completed early in 1985. In March 1985, Tetra Tech, Inc. succeeded URS-Berger as the Air Force consultant, and some...

Phase I Archaeological Reconnaissance Survey for Cultural Resources of 184 HA (455 Acres) On Industrial Site A, 162 HA (400 Acres) on Industrial Site B, and 0.7 HA (1.7 Acres) at the Location of the Trenton Transition Test Cells W1 and W2, Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold Air Force Base, Coffee and Franklin Counties, Tennessee (1995)
This project was completed in fall of 1994 in support of the construction of several facilities. It included the examination of three different areas, 455 acres in Industrial Site A, 400 acres in Industrial Site B, and a small 1.7-acre tract. The investigators included a geomorphologist who judged that 20% of the surface of the project areas was highly disturbed. Site Form for 3PU0424 (1995)
Site Form for Site 3PU0424. Site 3PU0424 is a historic site found through judgmental shovel testing along 20 m transects at 20 m intervals. The site has been severely disturbed and artifacts are widely scattered. Bulldozing has nearly destroyed it. Because of this it is not eligible for inclusion into the NRHP.
Site Form for 3PU0436 (1995)
Site form for 3PU0436. Site 3PU0436 is a historic residence or farmstead. Although the site has been severely impacted by bulldozing, two features remained to be identified. Three sites, 48LA635, 48LA649, and 48LA669, were tested by LTA, Inc. at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. The object of the testing was to gather sufficient information to assess each site's eligibility for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. Subsurface artifacts were not encountered at 48-LA-635 or 48-LA-649. Site 48-LA-635 appears to be entirely a surface manifestation with only three prehistoric artifacts present. The areas recorded as cairns and tipi rings at these sites are...
