Archaeology in the Community:15 Years of Archaeology Service

This collection contains the abstracts of the papers presented in the session entitled "Archaeology in the Community:15 Years of Archaeology Service," at the 2025 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology.

AITC is currently celebrating a significant milestone—15 years of unwavering archaeology service to the community. Over the past 15 years, our reach has extended nationally to states such as the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, and even internationally to Belize and Haiti. We've conducted free youth programs and responded to requests for international programs, demonstrating our commitment to making a global difference. This panel will explore some of the programs AITC has conducted over its 15 years.
