Savannah Lots (9CH1094) Data Recovery, City of Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia

Summary

Beginning January 2, 2006, and continuing over a

period of fourteen discontinuous weeks, Brockington

and Associates, Inc., conducted an archaeological

and historical data recovery of the Lamar Ward tract

archaeological Site 9CH1094 in the City of Savannah,

Chatham County, Georgia. These archaeological

investigations were undertaken for Ambling Inc. in

compliance with a Programmatic Agreement (DA

Permit #200500443) between the US Army Corps of

Engineers (USACE), Savannah District, Georgia Historic

Preservation Division and the Village at Oglethorpe

Landing, LLC.
