Year: 2004
Summary
On December 16, 2003 and January 7, 2004, an archaeologist from SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) monitored construction excavations and activities associated with the EPNG Line 1007 30-day anomaly repairs as part of El Paso’s pipeline integrity project in Pinal County, Arizona. Archaeological monitoring was undertaken to ensure no potentially significant cultural resources would be adversely affected by construction activities within the archaeological sites, AZ AA:2:105 (ASM), located on privately held land, and AZ AA:7:30 (ASM), located on Arizona State Trust land. No subsurface cultural features were identified during monitoring at either site. Monitoring was conducted on State Trust lands under Arizona Antiquities Act Project Specific Permit No. 2003-100ps.
