DOCUMENT Full-Text Shawn Chapman.

Summary of archaeological investigations in support of the proposed improvement area for Fam Camp. Investigations included a review of the existing site records, pedestrian survey and visual inspection as well as shovel testing. DOCUMENT Full-Text Steven R. Hoagland.

A cultural resources inventory of approximately 432 acres on Sandia National Laboratories (SNL), Tech Area I, South of "O" Street, which is located in Kirtland Air Force Base, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, yielded no prehistoric or historically significant cultural resources. A historic trash dump apparently dumped in the late 1950s and the few existing facilities appear to lack sufficient antiquity to be considered eligible for inclusion to the National Register of Historic Places. An isolated...

DOCUMENT Full-Text Lourdes Aguila.

Data recovery was completed at Pueblo del Rio as specified in the work plan developed after the testing phase. The purpose of the data recovery was to recover sufficient information from the portion of Pueblo del Rio within the EPNG right-of-way to answer general research questions as outlined in the treatment plan and to mitigate the adverse effect of the proposed EPNG undertaking on the cultural resources within the right-of-way. These goals were accomplished. However, the highly disturbed...

Site Form for 3PU0433 (1995)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Rolando L. Garza.

Site form for 3PU0433. Site 3PU0433 appears to be a site dating to late in the Historic period, late 19th/20th centuries. The site area appears to have been clear cut in the past. Any standing structures were razed, with only a few rubble piles of sandstone remaining. In view of the extensive bulldozing identified at the site, it is considered to be ineligible for inclusion on the NRHP and no further work is required.

Site Form for 3PU0436 (1995)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Gary L. Shaw.

Site form for 3PU0436. Site 3PU0436 is a historic residence or farmstead. Although the site has been severely impacted by bulldozing, two features remained to be identified. Feature 1 is a cistern, built of dressed, stacked-sandstone. Feature 2 appears to be a sandstone foundation. Unfortunately, the site only has an estimated 5-8% contextual integrity remaining, making it ineligible for inclusion on the NRHP. No further work is required.

Site Form for 3PU0439 (1995)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Rolando L. Garza.

Site form for 3PU0439. Site 3PU0439 is a historic site, probably occupied during 1930s to 1950s. The remnants of two structures were found at the site. The area has been clear cut in the past, and site integrity is estimated at 10% or less. In view of the limited integrity and the fact that the site does not appear to be particularly old or unique, it is considered to be ineligible for inclusion on the NRHP. No further work is required.

Site Form for 3PU0441 (1995)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Rolando L. Garza.

Site form for 3PU0441. Site 3PU0441 is a historic, possibly post-1940s farmstead. The area appears to have been clear cut except for the immediately around the structures. There is evidence of plowed fields to the north and west. Some bulldozer piles were found in the site area. Contextual integrity is estimated at 10% or less. Due to the extensive disturbance observed and the apparently late period of occupation, the site is considered to be ineligible for inclusion on the NRHP and no further...

Site Form for 3PU0446 (1995)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Rolando L. Garza.

Site form for 3PU0446. Site 3PU0446 appears to be a residential site, probably dating to the 1940s or 1950s. The structure has been highly impacted, as it appears to have been leveled by heavy machinery and the rubble removed, leaving the site with an estimated 3-5% contextual integrity. Given the extremely limited contextual integrity and the apparent late date of occupation, the site is considered to be ineligible for inclusion on the NRHP and nor further work is required.

Site Form for 3PU0448 (1995)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Rolando L. Garza.

Site form for 3PU0448. Site 3PU0448 has multiple structures and may be multifunction, probably dating to the 1940s or 1950s. The site area appears to have been clear cut at some time and then kept clear. All structures have been leveled to ground level and mostly removed. These disturbances appear to have left the site at most 10 percent contextual integrity. The site may be part of Toneyville. Given the extensive disturbance noted at the site and presumed late date of occupation, it is...

Site Form for 3PU0449 (1995)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Rolando L. Garza.

Site form for 3PU0449. Site 3PU0449 appears to have been occupied late in the historic period and may not be of an age to make it eligible for inclusion on the NRHP. The remnants of two structures were found, along with a moderately dense surface scatter of trash. There is a lot of evidence for bulldozing in the area, leaving the site with only 5-10% contextual integrity. In view of the high degree of disturbance at the site and its apparent late date of occupation, it is considered to be...

Site Form for 3PU0450 (1995)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Rolando L. Garza.

Site form for 3PU0450. Site 3PU0450 historic site which appears to date between 1920 and 1954. There is a low density artifact scatter at the site, mainly on the surface, with ca. 90% of the artifacts found in an old road bed that is oriented north-south. This road is still in use. There is also a reported cemetery at the site, but there was no surface indication and the names and dates of individuals interred is unknown. The site has been heavily impacted by bulldozing, and appears to have been...
