Dyess Air Force Base was inventoried by Mariah Associates, Inc. between April 4 and 13, 1994 as part of the Air Combat Command Cold War study for the on-going Department of Defense Legacy Program. From this research and inventory, two resources were determined to be important in their relationship to Dyess Air Force Base’s Cold War mission and history. Cape Cod Air Force Station’s (CCAFS) ICRMP was prepared as required by DoD Instruction (DoDI) 4715.3, Environmental Conservation Program, and AFI 32-7065. Each year the ICRMP will be reviewed and updated to incorporate new information and activities. The ICRMP serves as the long-term plan to accomplish the missions of the CCAFS cultural resource program.
