Summary
The Lauth project Ceramic Rough Sort (RS_CERAMICS) Data sheet contains data from the rough sort analysis of ceramics recovered during the Lauth data recovery project. It contains information on ceramic types, tempers and counts; it also records vessel and rim forms where applicable. The data sheet also contains rim circumference and rim diameter measurements for some ceramic specimens.

BIGINT | Measurement (gram) | Ceramic : Weight | none | none | true
AUDIT_VERSION | The Soil Systems, Inc. relational database originally contained audit tables for each artifact/analysis type to track updates/changes made to the primary data tables. Database managers recorded changes to particular data values in these audit tables. The changes were then passed on to the main data table (e.g., RS_CERAMICS). The AUDIT_VERSION number refers to the "audit number" for that particular row. Thus, if a data row contains an AUDIT_VERSION value of "2", then that row has been updated/changed with the audit-version number 2 (i.e., it has been updated two times).

Notes
General Note: Soil Systems analysts stored all provenience and artifact data for post-Hohokam Expressway Pueblo Grande projects in a relational database program called Advanced Revelations (AREV). The provenience and artifact data tables were standardized within this database. Thus, the ceramic data tables from this project and other Pueblo Grande projects were created in a table named RS_CERAMICS_DATA, and saved in this table. The data sheet presented here has been extracted from the RS_CERAMICS_DATA table in SSI's AREV database.
General Note: The ceramic data from this project should be directly compatible with the ceramic data from all other Soil Systems, Inc. Pueblo Grande projects, because the data were created in a standardized format (see above). Users can easily integrate this ceramic data with the data from other SSI projects.
General Note: Please note that SSI recorded the Pueblo Grande number as AZ U:9:7(ASM), which is the designation for a portion of Pueblo Grande. The correct number for the site as a whole is AZ U:9:1(ASM).
