Summary

This document constitutes a plan for the treatment of prehistoric and historic archaeological properties located within the bounds of the proposed Rancho Sahuarita Development, a 2,800-acre planned recreational and residential community being developed by Sharpe & Associates within the incorporated limits of the town of Sahuarita, Pima County, Arizona. The purpose of the research design is to assure compliance by all aspects of the Rancho Sahuarita Development with all applicable Cultural Resource and Historic Preservation regulations. The concern is that each phase of the project address impacts to historic properties in a consistent manner and in accord with a unified research design.
