Summary

From May 4 through July 11, 1987, cultural resource investigations were conducted by Tetra Tech, Inc. personnel at F.E. Warren Air Force Base (AFB), Wyoming. The study included intensive and reconnaissance surveys, site testing, monitoring, and reevaluation of National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligible sites. Seventeen prehistoric sites, 17 historic sites, 80 isolated finds (IFs), and 27 modern features were recorded in the project area. The project area consisted of 2,235 acres in the northern portion of F.E. Warren AFB in Sections 10, 11, 14, and 15, and portions of Sections 22, 23, and 27 in Township 14 north, Range 67 west.
