USACE (MCX-CMAC) - Archaeological Curation-Needs Assessments

Part of: US Army Corps of Engineers (Mandatory Center of Expertise for the Curation and Management of Archaeological Collections)

This collection contains a series of reports, Archaeological Curation-Needs Assessments, which resulted from assessment studies conducted on archaeological collections located on and recovered from Federal lands and government installations, and stored at these installations and/or in associated repositories. As mandated by Federal law, these archaeological materials and their associated records must be curated in perpetuity.

The purpose of these assessment studies was to determine the current state of these collections and to make recommendations for bringing them into compliance. This series of technical reports was prepared and published by the US Army Corps of Engineers Mandatory Center of Expertise for the Curation and Management of Archaeological Collections, St. Louis District.
