Peacekeeper Program: Preliminary Component Effect Report, Energy Management and Control System, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming
Summary
As outlined in the Peacekeeper Program Cultural Resources Management Plan (U.S. Air Force 1984), the Air Force is preparing a series of Component Effect Reports (CERs) covering proposed actions required for system deployment. This document is an abbreviated report reviewing the Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) prior to the 30% design review. A complete CER will be produced after 30% design review when final plans are available. The EMCS component consists of installing fiber optic cables throughout F.E. Warren Air Force Base (AFB) and modification of Building 320 to accommodate additional equipment. The proposed undertaking wi11 be located both within and outside boundaries of the F.E. Warren AFB Historic District/National Landmark.
