Summary

Archaeological Consulting Services, Ltd. (ACS) conducted a cultural resources survey on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community for a proposed landfill site. The survey, requested by Terry Leonard of the SRPMIC, was undertaken to identify and assess cultural resources that might be impacted by the development of the landfill. Of the historic sites, four consist of trash scatters and one is a historic road alignment. Nine prehistoric and nine historic isolated finds were recorded.
