Summary

This final report includes eight reports representing close to 6,000 acres of survey performed in the vicinity of the planned New Waddell Dam. The survey areas include locations for geologic test trenches, road relocations, borrow areas, spillways, and the Waddell Canal.

These surveys yielded a total of 43 sites and 2018 loci of isolated artifacts. All but one of the sites were located in two borrow areas. These two study areas evidence differences in use of habitation, agriculture and artifact assemblages.
