Part of: San Carlos Irrigation and Drainage District (SCIDD) Rehabilitation Project

This collection encompasses archaeological survey, archival research, Phase 1 data recovery, and Phase 2 data recovery conducted prior to the relining and rehabilitation of Reaches 1, 2, and 3 of the San Carlos Irrigation and Drainage District Rehabilitation Project. Reaches 1, 2, and 3 comprise the second phase of the San Carlos Irrigation and Drainage District Rehabilitation Project, which was authorized under the Arizona Water Settlements Act of 2004. The Bureau of Reclamation is the lead federal agency for the environmental and cultural compliance process. The project proponent is the San Carlos Irrigation and Drainage District. Cooperating agencies and entities include the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the San Carlos Irrigation Project, and the Pima-Maricopa Irrigation Project.
