Bellows Air Force Station, Archaeological Records
Part of: Air Force - PACAF
Collection of documents, data, and images generated from and/or related to archaeological resource and investigations on the Bellows Air Force Station in Hawaii. The collection was created by tDAR under contract with the USAF and is intended to organize documents, images, and other data from the Bellows Air Force Station. Some of the digital resources are organized under several sub-collections, which group together documents from particular investigations or related to certain sites or parts of the base. Other digital objects are included individually. Due to the potential sensitive information included in these documents, users that wish to access documents and images without redaction should contact the cultural resources office at the Bellows Air Force Station.

Subsurface investigations were conducted at two locations in the north coastal region of Bellows Air Force Station, O’ahu, to determine the presence of cultural deposits and to evaluate the impact of proposed construction for a multipurpose court complex and a restroom facility on archaeological resources. The auguring of thirteen test holes at the proposed, multipurpose court complex site found no indication of prehistoric cultural activity.
