Roosevelt Platform Mound Study (RPMS): Artifact Tables

Part of: Roosevelt Platform Mound Study

This collection contains tables summarizing artifact and stratigraphic data for excavations carried out by the Roosevelt Platform Mound Study (RPMS). The RPMS examined the ancient architecture, ecological relationships, economies, settlement patterns, social organization, and subsistence in the Tonto Basin of central Arizona. The project study areas were labeled the Pinto Creek, Cline Terrace, Rock Island, and Uplands complexes.

These tables list excavated strata and summarize artifact count by stratum for major artifact classes. Most of these tables were generated as data appendices for the Roosevelt reports. Many are published in the printed reports, but others were never included in the print publications and were originally available online from the repository website.
