This resource is a scan of the original artifact catalogs for the 1981 St. Mary's River Valley Survey sites aboard the Naval Air Station Patuxent River's Webster Field Annex (known at the time by the acronym NESEA). The original catalogs were written in pencil by staff of the Southern Maryland Research Center and students of the 1981 St. Mary's City summer field school. Diagnostic artifacts are generally sketched. Many additions, notations, and corrections have been added since 1981.
