General Note: old title: Fauna Element (Update 2) - Default Ontology Draft

General Note: In mapping, do not use values enclosed in {}--they are only to faciliate navigation & are general categories, e.g. {Additional Fish Elements} or values that appear elsewhere without {}, e.g. Quadrate, which appears for Amphibian/Reptile, Bird & Fish 2015-02-12 Updates to rename bird Digit 2 Phalanx 1 and Digit 2 Phalanx 2 and add additional bird elements, a synonym, and move long bone fragment within the ontology. Kintigh & Spielmann to update all uses of the old Digit 2 terminology in coding sheets. Movement of bird, fish, and amphibian/reptile elements to anatomical order will be in the next update.

General Note: 5/1/15 Substantial revision that included some reordering and additional of additional elements to accommodate, fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and shellfish.
